DMLRO – Company Background:

Freimann & Co Limited (the “Company”) was incorporated in Mauritius on 14th of January 2020 as a private company limited by shares. It holds a Global Business Licence under the Financial Services Act 2007. The Company has been granted an Investment Adviser (Unrestricted) Licence on 16 January 2020 pursuant to Section 30 of the Securities Act 2005, Rule 5 of the Securities (Licensing) Rules 2007 and the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) Rules 2008. The Company is regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC). The Company’s registered office is at C/o Sanlam Trustees International Limited, Labourdonnais Village, Mapou, Mauritius.

 

Governance Policy:

The Company maintains standards of corporate governance through awareness of business ethics and supervision by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors of the Company has also adopted The National Code of Corporate Governance for Mauritius (2016).

The Company also adheres with the local and international norms to combat Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation Financing. The Company has policies and processes in place aligned with international data protection standards.
